Monroe University is a recognized leader in urban education and a national model for social mobility, ranking #3 among U.S. News & World Report’s Top Performers for Social Mobility. The university is especially proud of its programs to increase college access, affordability, and completion outcomes among first-generation students. Working closely with Monroe's VP of Marketing, I wrote copy across the full breadth of their StudentBridge virtual tour site, spanning student life, academics, athletics, affordability, career services, and more. I maintained a consistent voice throughout: warm, direct, and deliberately free of the stiff institutional language that might intimidate the students Monroe works hardest to reach.

When Monroe hired Carnegie, a higher education consulting firm, to develop a new SEO framework for their academic program pages, they brought me in to execute their strategy. I rewrote more than 100 pages across Monroe’s undergraduate, graduate, adult learner, and continuing education programs, crafting thoroughly-researched copy that both satisfied search requirements and spoke persuasively to prospective students.

Studio, Tishman Speyer’s line of flexible workspaces, operates ~1.5M square feet of business-class coworking, event space, and move-in-ready office suites across landmark properties worldwide. When they set out to refine their brand voice, I collaborated closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to develop new customer-facing language that captured the platform's distinctive positioning: the flexibility of coworking, backed by the prestige of Tishman Speyer. I then wrote the copy for every page of their revised website.
